This quilt features the traditional Hawaiian Breadfruit (Ulu) pattern, which is a classic motif in Hawaiian quilting. The blue and white color scheme represents a departure from the more common red and white combinations, making this a distinctive example of Hawaiian textile art.

Hawaiian quilts are highly valued by textile collectors, interior designers, and cultural historians for their artistic merit and cultural significance. The Ulu pattern symbolizes abundance and prosperity in Hawaiian culture, and these quilts represent a unique fusion of indigenous Hawaiian design with quilting techniques introduced by missionaries in the 19th century. NOTE: couple small stains as noted in photos.
